Volunteer WITH HUMANE INDIANA

Help care for the animals, facilitate events, assist with clerical duties, work to raise funds or share your unique talent, hobby or skill. Humane Indiana relies on volunteers and welcomes new additions to our family—at our Munster Shelter, Clinic, Wildlife Center, and Paws Resale Shoppe.

While we greatly appreciate the willingness to help, please understand that all volunteer applications are carefully reviewed and each applicant is interviewed via phone call to ensure that both Humane Indiana’s volunteer program is a good fit for the applicant, and the applicant is a good fit for our program. Please note, there may be a 2-8 week process before being officially on boarded as a volunteer.

If you’re still interested in becoming a volunteer, please complete the online application (see APPLICATION button below), and a Volunteer Coordinator will contact you once your application has been processed.
